This happened on April Fools Day -Would that it were just that!
I can't think of anything I have witnessed that more clearly shows the degradation and shame of American Roman Catholicism than this vulgar display of celebrating a Divine Liturgy as PURE Political Theatre! SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!
If this Cardinal and these Bishops really believe they are helping the case for humane immigration policy by the DESECRATION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST, turning the most sacred moment of Christian Worship into political show, they are false priests who have abandoned the Love of Jesus Christ and have adopted the way of the world, using the tools of The New World Order, turning the Divine Liturgy into a Psy-Opts "event." They shame themselves, they shame the immigrants they proclaim to champion, they shame the Church, they sully The Most Sacred Mystery - for a POLITICAL comment, and SIDE SHOW. God is not mocked, and this was MOCKERY.
